Do you do scoliosis screening in your school and what ages/grades do you screen? What is the recomendation of the State School Nurse's Association and the National School Nurse's Association? Do any of you have the assistance of a Chiropracter? Thanks. Randi

In Sioux Falls we screen the sixth graders in the spring. We have Chiropractors that volunteer to screenings.
I think there are mixed reviews about doing scoliosis screening, but for now we are staying with 6th graders. If you are researching this topic I would be interested in what you find out.

Randi – We now do 5th, 6th and 7th grades – in the Fall. This year our local chiropractor did over 400 students in one day at two school buildings – with one assistant!
